As the days become shorter and the weather cool, autumn invites us to slow down, go within, and make the home feel more inviting. At Amethyst Interiors, we love the invitation that the season brings to layer texture and add character to the home. It’s not necessarily about a full redesign or remodel, instead about thoughtful changes/additions that transform the feeling of a space.

Here are a few ways to welcome fall into your home…

  • INTENTIONAL FLORAL ARRANGMENTS take a cue from mother nature and bring in some seasonal flowers, pumpkins, gourds, or branches to the dining room table or island

  • MOOD LIGHTING create warmth with accent lamps, sconces, and glowing candles

  • CELEBRATE THE SEASON WITHOUT THE THEME forgo the themed decor and go for colors and fabrics that represent the season through pillows, throws, and artwork; deep burgundy, rich browns, earthy terracotta

Home should reflect the way you want to feel, the way you want to live-comfortable, personal, uniquely yours.
